Pioneering the Future with Innovative Alloys: A Message from Our Company
We extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support and trust in our company. Guided by our core philosophy, "Cultivating creativity in metal materials, production technologies, and processing techniques to develop unique alloys that underpin cutting-edge technologies," we have established ourselves as a leading manufacturer of advanced specialty alloys. Among our innovations, we take pride in being a top producer of low thermal expansion alloys (Invar alloys), which remain dimensionally stable even under extreme temperature changes. Our Invar alloys play a critical role in the core components of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and FPD (Flat Panel Display) production systems, where nanometer-level precision is essential. As the semiconductor industry has grown, so too has our expertise and reputation.
Recently, we have developed Invar alloys capable of withstanding a wide temperature range, from -270°C to +400°C, meeting the diverse needs of our global customers. The foundation of our success lies in our commitment to research and innovation. Despite being a company of just 100 employees, we boast a dedicated R&D team of 10 researchers, including 5 Ph.D. holders. Our proprietary slag refining method ensures the production of high-quality cast steel, which, combined with advanced forging techniques developed in collaboration with major steel manufacturers, enables us to deliver exceptional products. Looking ahead, we are expanding our capabilities to include 3D additive manufacturing, alongside our existing cast and forged products, to meet the demand for complex, lightweight designs. The demand for semiconductors is expected to surge, driven by advancements in AI and data centers. In response, we are actively pursuing opportunities with overseas semiconductor equipment manufacturers while expanding into aerospace applications, such as molds for CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics), and environmental solutions with heat- and corrosion-resistant steels. In the long term, we foresee growing demand for Invar alloys in extreme environments, such as outer space, where temperature fluctuations are severe. Additionally, as the world focuses on combating climate change, our cryogenic Invar alloys are poised to play a vital role in hydrogen-related applications.
As we approach our 80th anniversary in 2029, we have set ambitious goals: achieving annual sales of 10 billion yen, operating profits of 1.5 billion yen, and a post-stock-split dividend of 45 yen per share. We are committed to delivering value to all our stakeholders, especially our shareholders, as we continue to innovate and grow. Join us as we push the boundaries of alloy technology and contribute to a sustainable, high-tech future. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to achieving new milestones together.
